SCHOLARSHIPS

  Annually scholarship applications are accepted for students in the Criminal Justice program at the Chippewa Valley Technical College based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. An endowment fund was established partnering with the Marshfield Area Community Foundation to ensure that generations to come will continue to benefit. Our purpose for creating this scholarship is to help further the education of someone that has chosen the career path Chris was passionate about. Chris expressed the desire to pursue a career in protective services at a very young age and he never faltered in that goal.

After 17 years of Chris’s scholarship being managed by first the Marshfield Area Community Foundation and then our family scholarship committee personally, we have moved the management directly to Chippewa Valley Technical College. The other change for 2023 is the applicants will be currently in the Criminal Justice program at CVTC. Our intentions are to fund a second scholarship in the coming years for high school seniors planning to attend CVTC in the Criminal Justice program.

 Once students have been accepted to CVTC, they will have access to the scholarship application. They simply go to “Pay for College” in their MyCVTC site and click on “Scholarships.” This will bring them to all the information they will need to apply! CVTC’s scholarship application for 2023-24 opens on January 3.
